Madden 09 - Reviewed

Ok, I have been a fan of madden since Madden was created, I damn near have every single game.

Madden 09, is alright, it ain't great, and in my honest opinion, is NOT worth the $60+ for it. It is the same game as the last few with a couple of new things. IQ Test thing is a joke, neat little addition, but a joke nonetheless. And of course the league system, which could have been done way better. Is it just me, or does it seem like every year when you buy the new Madden game, you're just paying for roster updates? The game play seems to be the same, and unless I am mistaken, I cannot figure out how to do that cool little highlight thing as the QB - did they take that off?

Online play: For me, I have found Online play so un-playable (it even lags like hell when you're SCROLLING THROUGH THE PLAYBOOK), that I just play franchise or the computer for fun, but it gets boring. Oh and What the *BLEEP* did they do with the cool newspaper feature they had for franchise mode?! That was like my favorite thing...so now I am just pissed, and honestly, wish I never bought this trash.

EA Sports, you guys are going to lose die-hard Madden fans if this doesn't improve in the next series.

Ah that felt good to get off my chest, take care all!

Design Pro Nate - Project

I know I have not been posting much lately. Mostly because I have been focusing my time on some projects I've been working on.

You may or may not know that I am a professional designer. I felt it was time to use my talent and skills to better myself, and help others as well. This one MAJOR project I am working on will be my first big one, and I can only hope it works out the way that I feel it will.

Well basically, you will see what it's about once you get to the site http://www.designpronate.com - right now the landing page is just a write up on the packages that WILL be available.
Now, I am almost certain that I will be adding more (maybe a blog even) to this website in the near future, but for now I am just concentrating on completing it and getting it live.

I will try to keep you updated via this blog in the meantime on how this is coming along. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for reading.

Gamble Gamble

Well long time no post, so it's time to make a random one :)

I recently went to foxwoods and finished 16th in a poker tournament, knocked out my friend with around 30 left, and it was his birthday... ahh what an awesome birthday present! Luckily we all still had a blast and are going back this week. Hopefully we will have even more of a blast as we are staying overnight this time :D

Anyway, to the point... I recently created a gambling blog at http://gamblernest.blogspot.com

If you're looking for some quick tips on online poker, and just gambling in general, I have already made some nice posts. Feel free to comment and such on how you feel the tips are, also add your own tips if you want!

Ok... so this might not have been so random after all ;)

Guitar Hero Aerosmith - Reviewed

First off I would like to state that I love the Guitar and I used to take lessons back in high school. I play just for fun now as it is definitely relaxing to just sit back and play some of your favorite songs.

Alright, to the point... My sister kept bugging me to go get the new Guitar Hero Aerosmith, so I finally gave in and bought it (for $60+tax). We completed the entire game on Hard within the first 3 hours of owning it. I was extremely disappointed, not only because it didn't take long at all to complete, but the fact that MOST of the songs were quite repetitive, which annoyed the hell out of me. Not only that, but half the songs weren't even by Aerosmith... WTF!?

It doesn't seem like to me that they spent much time on this game and it was more of an attempt to give Rock Band a swift kick in the cajones. Well, sorry, practice your swift kicking skills. Now, back to my Rock Band I go.
